Win Tickets to the Mighty Boosh Festival
Or.
odwolves is pleased to be launching an exciting competition for the summer which should get your mind tanks whirring and your creativity flowing! We are offering two lucky Modwolves the chance to win a pair of tickets to this years first ever Mighty Boosh festival at the Hop Farm in Kent. Not only that but (thanks to your feedback) we are offering up to £100 towards transport and accommodation (courtesy of Modwolves) so those of you from further afield can enter.
As this is such a monumental prize, we are asking you to design a “Modwolves at The Mighty Boosh festival” themed badge for Modwolves to wear at the festival – or just to wear about town if you can’t get to the festival!
You can use as many colours as you like but remember we need room to put the Modwolves written logo and also remember that your design will be shrunk down to a 32mm circular badge. All designs will also be judged on these criteria. Please also remember that if you use any official Boosh logos/images these will be subject to Modwolves being able to clear their use with Noel/Julian/Boosh management. By entering this competition you are signing over your rights to your design for Modwolves to exploit around the world in all media for perpetuity (legal bumpf but in reality your design will be on the website and on the badges themselves).
The closing date for this competition is Friday 16th May in order to give us time to produce the badges and get the remaining Modwolves gifts ready to send out in the final jiffy mail shot so if your design is received after this time we won’t be able to consider it. The winners will be picked by none other than Mr. Dave Brown (Patron Saint of Modwolves aka Bollo).
We are waiting for confirmation from the promoter regarding any age restrictions for the festival which will have a knock on to the competition. Once we have heard this will work in one of two ways.
1) Two ticket winners will be chosen – an under 18s winner and an over 18+ winner. The best design of the two will be made into the badge and both winning designs will receive a pair of tickets.
2) Two ticket winners will be chosen – both 18+. A separate competition for under 18s will be run with the prize being something pretty special (probably something even better than going to the Boosh festival!) The best design of the three will be made into the badge and both 18+ winning designs will receive a pair of tickets.
Sorry this is so confusing but we’re trying to be fair to everyone and the under 18s have missed out big time over the past few years! So entry is open to all Think that’s all you need to know! Get your designs in quick!
Please send your designs in via email to competition@themightyboosh.co.uk
or through the post to

Mighty Boosh Festival tickets on sale now!!
Dalston’s biggest export The Mighty Boosh – Stars of three hit BBC TV series, is set to make entertainment history with a unique open air festival this summer at The Hop Farm in Kent.
Entertaining 30,000 Fans, the award winning (Perrier Award winners 1998, NME Award winners 2007/2008, RTS Award winners 2008) duo Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding AKA Howard Moon and Vince Noir, will delight revellers with their magical and comical wizardry and take us on a hilarious journey from their Nabootique homeland to the very ends of the comedy universe!
Life in Kent will never seem the same again when the duo descend from planet Boosh on 5th of July with a fusion of world class comedy, peppered with some of the music worlds biggest names, creating Europe’s most unique and spectacular festival experience.
The Boosh is also revered in the musical world and rub shoulders with the great and the good of the music scene. The festival will therefore perfectly fuse the finest musical acts with their own spectacle, with the boys inviting some of their own special favourites to take to the stage with them!
Promoters Vince Power and Phil McIntyre say “We thought long and hard about putting on a comedy festival and convinced the Mighty Boosh that they were the right choice for the 1st major open air comedy festival of it’s kind.”
The Hop Farm is the perfect place this July to enjoy the spectacle– a live cacophony of comedy, accompanied by lashings of musical loveliness. Expect controlled chaos and organised confusion a perfect summer feast of insane rock and roll!
Says Noel Fielding “We’ve never played a music festival before and a comic has never headlined at a festival before so we are seizing the opportunity and doing both!”
Full line up to be announced shortly for one of the hottest festivals this Summer.

Boosh Night on BBCThree
Here is the exciting news...
Saturday 22nd March is Boosh night on BBC Three.
The plan is to show a documentary about the Boosh, which is being put together at the moment, along with six of the best episodes of the Boosh. Noel and Julian will be doing live links before and after the documentary (which goes out at 9:30pm and we’re looking for a studio audience full of Boosh fans (who are keen to dress up as characters from the show) to take part. There may very well be a special prize for the person who dresses up most spectaularly so bear that in mind! More details nearer the time.
Please bear in mind that the links will total 5 minutes so it won’t be like a normal recording. However, we’re told that Noel and Julian will be happy to come out a bit before and say hello to everyone and maybe do some signing (though we cannot guarantee the signing). The audience will be let into the studio at about 8:15pm and doors will open at.... The audience will be able to watch the documentary live in the studio but the studio will be cleared straight after the second link (not that we haven’t all memorised all of the episodes anyway!!)
BUT (and this is VERY important)... the studio capacity is 292 people but due to the nature of TV recordings the BBC will send out more tickets than they have room to accommodate as people reserve tickets and don’t turn up yet they need the studio to be full.
So here is the link to apply for tickets....
We will have 5 pairs of priority tickets (guaranteed entry) to give away but in the meantime apply for tickets and make sure you arrive at the studio in very good time.

Never Mind The Booshcocks...NEWS
Bill Bailey for three weeks in the new series of Never Mind The
Buzzcocks, which will be on telly in November.
'When Bill asked me to cover for him as team captain on Buzzcocks I
was delighted to be his first choice. Only after I agreed to do it did
I realise that I was actually 104th on the list behind Andrew, his
long-eared rabbit. Although, to be fair, Andrew is on fire at the
moment.' (chortle.co.uk) Apply for audience tickets here

Episode 1 of Series 3 of the Mighty Boosh, EELS, is still set to hit
BBC Three screens at 10.30pm on Thursday 15th November. We've seen a
copy and it sees the welcome return of some popular characters from
both previous series, as well as a performance from our very own Queen
of the Mods as part of the Hoxton Elite. There is also a new song
which will stick in your minds and drive you mad.
Rich Fulcher, Matt Berry. Simon Farnaby, Waen Shepherd and some other
comedy stars will appear in Golf War on E4 at 11.30pm on Monday 5th
November. It is a sitcom about two rival golf clubs and promises to
be very funny.
Rich Fulcher appears live on Thursday 1st November at Clarks' at The
Albany in London 020 7387 5706. The night is hosted by Dan Clark
(Johhny Two Hats in series 1) and always sells out quickly.
